Installation
Stretch line over entire length. Drive stakes at approximately 20’ centers. Install stakes at finish floor elevation on approximately 2’ centers, with five stakes per 10 feet of material. Additional stakes shall be used for support if bearing soil conditions require. The joint shall be hung on the steel stakes. This action will interlock joint and stake. Install joint splices for perfect alignment of butt ends. Clips are only used when the pour is started on the stake side first. On continuous pours, concrete shall be placed to full depth on both sides of joint simultaneously. Finish the concrete flush to top of the metal joint. Do not edge joint!
